The Aims of the Canadian Cadet Movement:
- Develop in youth the attributes of good citizenship and leadership;
- Promote physical fitness; and,
- Stimulate an interest in sea, land and air activities of the Canadian Armed Forces
We have a rich history at 2290. From where we have come to where we are going, we keep in mind the 3 aims of the Movement. We aim to return the cadet to his/her parent with an improved sense of self worth, individualism, pride and competency. We hope to improve the lives of all our youth. We hope to give them a sense of belonging and family. We challenge them to reach their limits. We teach them to remember our history and boldly embrace the future.
At 2290, cadets is about: Fun! Challenge! Friends!
